Back to the Garden Childcare in Broadheath, Altrincham: ‘Tis the season of giving

Updated: Sep 1, 2020

At Back to the Garden day nursery in Altrincham, we believe the festive period is the season of giving! We encourage everyone here at the nursery to give and share and nurture the beautiful friendships they form, because they are gifts in their own right.

We’ve created a positive environment at our day nursery in Altrincham, that encourages responsive and reciprocal relationships. Through these lovely friendships, the children have the opportunity to develop their character and learn more about the loved ones around them.

At this time of year, nature gifts us with so many natural resources; colourful leaves on the floor and vibrant holly for decoration, twigs for crafting and puddles for splashing in, clear dark skies that make the stars and moon shine bright! We use natural resources at every opportunity and throughout our curriculum to learn and explore the world and everything it has to offer!

We appreciate everything nature provides us with this time of year, and that’s why at Back to the Garden Childcare in Broadheath, we do our part to give back! Every child that joins the nursery is given their very own environmentally-friendly Klean Kanteen bottle.

Not only do these cute bottles give the children open-ended access to water all day long to stay hydrated, but also with the bottle being stainless steel they are eco-friendly and reduce plastic use and waste so we know we’re all giving back to the environment and doing our part for our planet!
