Back to the Garden Childcare in Broadheath, Altrincham: Our beautiful learning spaces
Updated: Sep 1, 2020
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our first full summer at Back to the Garden Childcare in Broadheath, Altrincham! We have had so much fun teaching through our fab curriculum, which is always changing with the new children we meet. Through play children develop and explore their own theories to help them make sense of the world, and we give them time, space and resources to do exactly that with our support and supervision. Every child is different, and that’s why our curriculum differs for every age group!
Our nursery and curriculum inspiration comes from the concept of Hygge...
A calm, comfortable time with people you love. A complete absence of frustrations, or anything emotionally overwhelming, often enjoyed with warmth and good food.
At Back to the Garden Childcare in Broadheath, we love that Infants have a big curiosity and drive to explore, and our Infants are cared for in our lovely baby rooms; large rooms with lots of natural light which open onto our outdoor space. We know that some Toddlers are experiencing childcare for the first time and some are transitioning from other settings or within our settings. That’s why at our beautiful day nursery in Altrincham, we have thought carefully about the needs of this age group and designed our space around them. We’ve made sure our Toddler rooms are full of lovely resources that support their growing independence, their desire to explore the world and their ever-growing imagination! We do this through the use of music, books, story-telling, our creative Atelier spaces and plethora of other activities.
Children continue their learning journeys in our Pre-School rooms. Our pre-school group is a wonderful workshop! These dedicated spaces in our day nursery in Broadheath are perfectly designed, down to every last detail, to support our older children’s learning, including block play, imaginative and role play, exploration, sensory, water and sand play, and of course our creative Atelier studio space.
